A colorful parade has marked the opening ceremony of the 3rd International Festival of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Chengdu, capital city of southwestern Province of Sichuan. The festival runs until 11 June.

The Shenzhen Daily article Watchtowers found in Nanshan reports that a recent cultural relics census has identified 21 historic watchtowers in Shenzhen’s Nanshan District. The 21 watchtowers were built between 1910 and the 1920s.
